Taylor got two carries in OT but Chiefs stacked the box; Steichen wanted him to finish the game.

In overtime against Kansas City with the Colts trailing by three and needing a touchdown, coach Shane Steichen ran the ball twice with Taylor from the 17-yard line, losing three yards total. Steichen said he wanted to end the contest with the ball in Taylor's hands because Taylor is the team's best offensive player and had scored two touchdowns earlier in the game; however, the Chiefs were able to easily counter those play calls, putting the game in the hands of Daniel Jones instead.
