Cody White, a 6-foot-3, 227-pound 27-year-old wideout from Michigan State that I dubbed as a 'Seattle import', seemingly came out of nowhere to haul in two key second-half touchdowns. His first was an excellent 13-yard diving reception in the third quarter that capped an 11-play, 74-yard drive to give Las Vegas back the lead — 17-14 — to answer a Los Angeles touchdown. White's second was a textbook 11-yard reception where the Chargers defense forgot about the big wide receiver altogether.

Practice squad call-up Cody White scores twice in Raiders' 26-14 win over Chargers.

Undrafted wide receiver elevated from practice squad to significant game-day contributor in Week 2 against Chargers; hauled in two second-half touchdowns (13-yard diving reception in third quarter, 11-yard reception in fourth quarter) on two receptions for 24 yards total. First touchdown capped an 11-play, 74-yard drive to give Raiders 17-14 lead; second was wide-open 11-yard score where Chargers defense failed to account for the 6-foot-3, 227-pound wideout. White's emergence as a key contributor reflects head coach Klint Kubiak's familiarity with him from Seattle Seahawks days.
