Undrafted rookie Strand elevated to QB after Rush benched in Week 2.

Undrafted rookie Jack Strand was promoted to take over quarterback duties after Cooper Rush was benched following the Falcons' 34-3 loss to Carolina in Week 2. Strand's promotion reflects the team's quarterback situation instability with both Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa dealing with injuries.
