Hogs Haven on Jayden Daniels

Elbow injury requires specialist consultation; surgery and brace decisions pending.

Suffered an elbow injury on the final play of the first half after bracing himself on a last-second touchdown attempt. Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed no fractures but the team is doing more testing. Daniels dislocated the same elbow last season and was shut down when he tried to return; he did not have surgery last year due to no ligament damage, but surgery and wearing a brace will need to be reconsidered this year. Daniels had imaging done and will see specialists to determine the plan going forward.
