Yahoo Sports NFL on Ray-Ray McCloud

McCloud available but injured; familiar with Shanahan system but unlikely signing.

McCloud is available as a veteran option familiar with Shanahan's offense and could fill Robinson's role or serve as a backup punt returner; however, he was placed on IR by Chicago before the season and released with an injury settlement, making his health status uncertain. The source notes this scenario is almost certain not to happen and that signing McCloud could take away development time from Watkins.
