Give credit where credit is due. Everyone knows how poorly Watson has played since he's been in Cleveland, but Week 2 was one of his best outings as a Brown. The last time I saw Watson play this well was back in 2023 during the 2nd half of their game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Watson delivered one of his best outings as a Brown in Week 2 against Tampa Bay, the last comparable performance dating back to the 2nd half of the 2023 Ravens game. He made necessary plays and used his legs effectively, looking like the player Cleveland traded for despite a low bar set by prior performances. While unlikely to finish the season as starter, this was a strong at-the-office performance after a poor Week 1 and heavy criticism.
