Winston had to carry the Giants' offense for most of the night after Dart exited early with a knee injury. In his first appearance of 2026, he went 11 for 27 on pass attempts for 111 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception, also taking a couple of sacks. Beyond the box score, Winston appeared totally out-of-sorts and unprepared, looking like he was seeing ghosts in clean pockets and airmailing throws to open receivers. He was not checking out of plays with the frequency Dart did in Week 1.
