This is how the Eagles should use Johnny Mundt. The perception of him as a massive inline mauler has never matched the player I watched on film. He is around 245 pounds and is far more impressive when he can move across the formation, get into space, and find a second-level defender.

Mundt's 245-lb frame thrives on the move, not as a static inline blocker.

The Eagles should use Johnny Mundt on the move across the formation, getting into space and finding second-level defenders, not as a static inline mauler. The perception of him as a massive inline mauler has never matched the player on film; he is around 245 pounds and far more impressive when mobile. When leading on the edge and executing assignments well, as he did against the Titans, he unlocks explosive plays. Asking him to repeatedly kick out defensive ends from a static alignment doesn't play to his strengths.
