FantasyPros Articles on Rashee Rice
From the article
Rashee Rice's 12.8% (Wk1: 7.4%) Target share nearly doubled, but it's hardly a big number to be excited about. 6 targets (12.8% adjusted share, up from 7.4%), 4 catches, 83 yards - a real second-tier riser with the game's second-longest catch (31 yards) mixed in. Unless you can get somebody to bite on Rice now (pun intended), I'd suggest holding the Chiefs WR1.
STACKED’s take
Rice's target share doubled to 12.8%, but hold unless you can sell high soon.
Rice's target share nearly doubled to 12.8% from 7.4%, but it's hardly a big number to be excited about; he had 6 targets (12.8% adjusted share), 4 catches, 83 yards with the game's second-longest catch (31 yards) on the last play of regulation before OT. Before that, he was sitting on 3 catches for 52 yards. The source notes his slow start feels somewhat expected given his offseason injury rehab, and with Miami and LV on the horizon, those are matchups where Rice could post better numbers to sell high on. Unless you can get somebody to bite on Rice now, the source suggests holding the Chiefs WR1, as the offense with Kenneth Walker has changed to a point where Rice can no longer just operate as a PPR-scam merchant.
