Ferguson posts career highs as Nacua's backup; confirmed as third option in Rams offense.

With Puka Nacua out on Monday night, Ferguson delivered career highs across the board with six receptions on nine targets for 54 yards and a touchdown. The second-year tight end played 58% of snaps, trailing Colby Parkinson but topping Davis Allen and Tyler Higbee. More importantly, Ferguson posted a 72% route share and 30% target share. McVay and Stafford funnel targets through their top two receivers, Nacua and Davante Adams, so it was encouraging to see them feature Ferguson as the second option in Nacua's absence. With Nacua in the lineup, Ferguson will be difficult to project, but it's a massive boost to know that he's their third option.
