STACKED’s take

Positive signalRole

Bateman delivered 7 rec, 88 yards, 1 TD as top target with Flowers out.

With Zay Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane unavailable, Bateman stepped up as the top target with seven catches for 88 yards and a touchdown, demonstrating the elite route-running and space-creation ability that made him a first-round pick. Despite the game-sealing interception on the final play (which Lamar Jackson confirmed was a correct route), Bateman showed he can still get open at will in the NFL through stemming off the top of routes, head fakes, selling cuts, and finding soft spots in zones.
