Pride Of Detroit on Isaac TeSlaa
From the article
Right now, he's playing harder than damn-near anybody that we have on our offensive side of the ball. He is mixing it up, he's physical. And that's what you have to do when you're in that role.
STACKED’s take
Montgomery praises TeSlaa's blocking and physical play; plans to build plays off his dirty-work tendencies.
Despite limited targets, Montgomery praised TeSlaa's blocking and physical play away from the ball, noting he is 'playing harder than damn-near anybody that we have on our offensive side of the ball.' TeSlaa's value lies in his dual-threat ability to both stretch the field and block in the box—a rare combination for an outside receiver. Montgomery indicated that as TeSlaa builds a reputation for dirty work and run-game contribution, the Lions plan to create plays off those tendencies and increase his involvement: 'When you look at that, those situations the dirty work, all of those plays that no one else wants to make—and now because of that, we're able to use those tendencies and create a bigger play for him in the game.'
