Lock gets starting audition with Darnold sidelined; contract expires after season.

Lock will start at quarterback for the Seahawks on Sunday at Arizona in place of the injured Sam Darnold. This is his third start in a Seattle uniform and first since January 5, 2025 when he was with the Giants. The start serves as an audition for his future as he enters free agency next spring; his two-year contract with the Seahawks expires after this season.
