The Falcoholic on Michael Penix Jr.

Penix's season debut sparked the Falcons offense with 256 yards, 1 TD, and immediate red zone success.

Michael Penix Jr. returned from injury in Week 3 with a strong season debut: 18-25 completions, 256 passing yards, 1 TD. After an early interception over the middle, he found his groove in the second quarter and never looked back, peppered the seams, and let the deep ball rip. The offense took off with him, scoring touchdowns on three of four red zone trips after failing to reach the red zone in the previous two games. Already tied for the most wins by a QB drafted in 2024 this season.
