The Texans were fifth-best against fantasy WRs last season, and when they've been beaten, it's almost always against big-bodied downfield threats like Pierce, Kayshon Boutte, Michael Wilson, Quentin Johnston, etc. Downs has a history with them himself. He posted 4-109-1 against the Texans in Week 8 of 2024 (hell yeah), but he's been held to under 50 scoreless yards in his other four games.

Downs faces a difficult matchup against the Texans, who were fifth-best against fantasy WRs last season. The Texans have been beaten almost exclusively by big-bodied downfield threats like Pierce, Kayshon Boutte, Michael Wilson, and Quentin Johnston. Downs has a history of inconsistency against them: he posted 4-109-1 in Week 8 of 2024 but was held to under 50 scoreless yards in his other four games. However, without Pierce and with Daniel Jones at QB, he should perform better than his historical average against Houston.
