Wentz's Week 2 output lagged behind his peers with 0.2 EPA per dropback (11th out of 32 starters), 40.9% passing success rate (23rd), and -7.3% completion percentage over expected (27th). He was already up to six sacks by the end of Week 2, with five coming when holding onto the ball longer than 2.5 seconds and half occurring on third down. Despite the poor efficiency metrics, Vikings fans and fantasy managers got what they needed in Week 1 with Justin Jefferson's first two-TD game since '24 and both RBs finding the paint. Murray's return should bring more to the offense with more than seven dropbacks to showcase his skills.
