Field Gulls on Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed's route-running struggles and drop show he can't rely solely on vertical speed.

Shaheed's bigger issue is as a route runner; he has struggled to consistently get off the line of scrimmage and create separation in situations that don't involve using his vertical speed. He dropped a well-placed pass from Lock on a great play call, demonstrating he needs to be better when the ball isn't perfectly placed. The source emphasizes that while Shaheed doesn't need to become a possession receiver, he must make difficult plays as a major part of the passing game.
