Mile High Report on Nate Adkins
From the article
He does a lot of things well. He can play in the kicking game; he blocks well. I don't want to use the word Swiss Army Knife, but he's one of those guys where once you describe the assignment, he's really good blocking in space.
STACKED’s take
Adkins is a versatile blocker and safety valve with 3-for-3 targets and 1 TD vs Jacksonville.
Adkins is rebounding from missing nearly half of 2025 due to injury and has emerged as a key contributor in Denver's offense. Third on the depth chart behind Engram and Trautman, Adkins has been a versatile blocker to kickstart Denver's rushing attack and serves as a safety outlet for Bo Nix. In Week 2 against Jacksonville, he posted 3 receptions on 3 targets for 32 yards and 1 TD. Sean Payton highlighted Adkins' value as a 'Swiss Army Knife' type player, praising his blocking in space and special teams abilities: 'He does a lot of things well. He can play in the kicking game; he blocks well...once you describe the assignment, he's really good blocking in space.'
