Big Blue View on Jimmy Garoppolo

Garoppolo mentioned as potential Plan C backup QB option for Giants.

Jimmy Garoppolo is named as a potential Plan C backup quarterback option for the Giants if Jameis Winston fails. Ed Helinski notes the Giants will 'look around at practice squads, a street free agent like Jimmy Garoppolo, and trade options' to fill the third-string role. However, Ed also notes that finding a capable third quarterback is difficult league-wide, and most teams are unwilling to trade away backup quarterbacks early in the season.
