From the article

Moore discussed the strategic benefits of aggressive blocking by Chiefs wide receivers, noting that defensive backs cannot distinguish between blocking and route-running assignments. Moore stated "If you're going out there to block, a (defensive back) won't know if you're blocking or running the route. So it could help you out in more ways." This indicates Moore is part of the Chiefs' expanded blocking scheme that creates deception and potential route-running advantages.
