Wilson emerging as short-yardage back; stopped twice on goal-line attempts

Wilson appears to be emerging as the Seahawks' short-yardage back. He was given the ball on a goal-line drive at the end of the first half in a unique formation featuring backup center Olu Oluwatimi playing fullback and backup O-lineman Josh Jones, but was stopped for a loss of one by safety Andrew Wingard. Wilson was also stopped on fourth-and-goal at the Arizona 1 in the second quarter after the Seahawks rushed him up the middle on three straight plays.
