Silver And Black Pride on Brock Bowers

Bowers' return elevates Kubiak's offense after 2-0 start; best-player advantage.

Head coach Klint Kubiak will deploy an even more dynamic offense when Bowers returns to the field. Quarterback Kirk Cousins emphasized wanting the best players on the field and that Bowers' return gives the offense that advantage. Offensive coordinator Andrew Janocko noted Bowers' presence allows the Raiders to maximize different skill sets in different ways and execute the offense more effectively. The Raiders generated back-to-back wins in the first two games of the 2026 season without Bowers, making his return a fortuitous addition to an already successful offense.
