Giants considering Jones as QB option after Dart's injury; Nagy may prefer him over Fields.

Giants are considering Mac Jones as a QB option after Jaxson Dart's season-ending knee injury. The move is noteworthy given Giants offensive coordinator Matt Nagy's 2021 decision to draft Justin Fields over Jones with the Bears; Nagy may now be more inclined to give Jones a shot, especially after how Mac played in 2025. 49ers GM John Lynch referenced the team's history at the position as a reason to hold onto Jones, suggesting confidence in his ability to step in if needed.
