Bolts From The Blue on Justin Herbert

Herbert's Chargers suffer double-digit losses to Cardinals and Raiders in 0-2 start.

Justin Herbert and the Chargers have contrasting results compared to Josh Allen and the Bills; the Chargers' first two weeks featured double-digit losses to both the Cardinals and Raiders, both of whom picked in the top-three of this year's draft and were not expected to be anywhere near the same tier as the Chargers given preseason expectations. Herbert's early-season struggles against inferior competition signal offensive dysfunction.
