Metchie had mixed results: missed wide-open pass, then caught go-ahead touchdown.

Metchie was targeted multiple times by Young; he had a wide-open incompletion on 3rd and 2 when Young 'dirted a ball' to him, forcing a field goal attempt. Later, Metchie converted a third down with a deep out and caught a wide-open touchdown pass in the end zone to put the Panthers back ahead, showing he was available as a target despite Young's overall poor play.
