Revenge of the Birds on Jacoby Brissett
From the article
So far this season, Brissett has been a middle-of-the-road quarterback. He tossed 52 passes in today's game and completed 38. The issue is that when the offense drives down and gets into scoring range, Brissett will miss his targets, and the Cardinals will settle for three points instead of six.
STACKED’s take
Brissett is middle-of-the-road; misses targets in scoring range, 78.1 rating.
Brissett has been a middle-of-the-road quarterback so far this season. The issue is that when the offense drives down and gets into scoring range, Brissett will miss his targets, and the Cardinals will settle for three points instead of six. On third-and-17 in the second quarter, his throw to Wilson was nowhere near him, forcing Arizona to settle for another field goal. He hit Love for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, but the rookie had to reach back for the pass. He is a good game manager but can't get into the elite passer category. In the Cardinals-49ers game, he went 38-of-52 for 280 yards, a 5.4 yards-per-completion average, tossed two touchdowns, threw zero interceptions, was sacked twice, and had a 78.1 QB rating.
