Derek Carr's one full season with Adams (1,516 yards, 14 TDs) was strong, but community sentiment is that Carr and subsequent Raiders/Jets situations 'wasted years' of Adams' career. Post-Carr Raiders and Jets tenure hurt his perception and production. Contrast with Stafford's elevation of Adams suggests QB situation is critical to Adams' fantasy value.
