Allen tasked with picking up Campbell blitz on final play.

Running back Braelon Allen was tasked with picking up blitzing Lions linebacker Jack Campbell on the final play of the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Lions. The source's analysis suggests this was a difficult assignment given the Lions' defensive alignment; the source argues a better protection scheme would have had center Josh Myers slide to Campbell in the A gap and allowed Allen to pick up the blitzing safety (Chuck Clark) to his side instead, which would have been easier to execute.
