STACKED’s take
Mariota's 19/31, 183 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, 110.0 rating in win vs Seattle shows veteran poise.
Mariota delivered a strong backup performance against Seattle, completing 19 of 31 passes for 183 yards, three touchdowns, and zero turnovers for a 110.0 passer rating in a 33–31 win. The source notes his poised, veteran leadership and steady command of offensive coordinator David Blough's scheme from the opening whistle; he consistently took what the defense surrendered and protected the football in high-leverage spots. This marked his first three-touchdown outing since Week 8 of the 2022 season, and he surpassed 18,000 career passing yards. The source emphasizes that having a backup who can step onto the field and pilot a 30-plus point victory is a luxury few franchises enjoy.
