Pride Of Detroit on Sione Vaki

Vaki: 7 touches, 37 yards, 3 FDs; solid pass protection for Goff.

Vaki was stout in protecting Goff after it brought him under heat early, even popping Demario Davis with a thud that sent him to his seat. Vaki was also effective with the ball in his hands, turning seven touches into 37 yards (5.3 yards per touch) and three first downs, including one after splitting two defenders on a checkdown and another on a short-yardage carry. The Lions were more dedicated to spelling Jahmyr Gibbs in this one, and part of that may have been Gibbs' early issues in pass protection.
