Jarquez Hunter, a practice squad running back from Auburn who played five games with the Rams in 2025, is a candidate to get a shot as Miami's receiving back following De'Von Achane's season-ending ACL injury. The source notes Hunter "had 68 catches in college" and "runs a 4.44 in the 40-yard dash," suggesting he has receiving credentials that could fill some of the void left by Achane's loss.
