Field Gulls on Rashid Shaheed

Shaheed's 6 catches, 53 yards in 3 weeks disappoints for $51M contract.

Three weeks into the season, Shaheed has six catches for 53 yards on 12 targets—not dazzling numbers for a $51 million free agent signing. His chemistry has been primarily with Sam Darnold, whom he's only played with for barely over the equivalent of a full game this month. Tory Horton had more catches than Shaheed in far fewer snaps, raising questions about his fit as a blocker and ability to separate consistently at an NFL level in a stacked receiver group alongside JSN and Kupp.
