Buffalo Rumblings on Ray Davis
From the article
"right now, I gotta get Ray playing more, right? ... He's too good of a player ... Ray's worked his ass off and deserves that" opportunity; "there's plenty of room to get him involved meaningfully on offense"
STACKED’s take
Brady says Davis is too good and deserves more snaps; dual-threat upside in complementary role.
Buffalo Bills HC Joe Brady explicitly stated he needs to get Ray Davis more involved on offense, saying "right now, I gotta get Ray playing more" and "He's too good of a player" and "Ray's worked his ass off and deserves that" opportunity. Davis has been severely underutilized through Week 3 with just one carry (3 yards) despite being a proven dual-threat who averaged a first down on one of every four rushing attempts (42 first downs on 172 rushes) and earned 15 first downs on 27 receptions (32 targets) in his three-year Bills career. Brady indicated there is "plenty of room to get him involved meaningfully on offense" in a complementary role to James Cook III, potentially as soon as Week 4.
