Davis has one carry through three games despite Cook not taking every snap.

Ray Davis saw minimal offensive snaps in Week 3 vs. Los Angeles Chargers: five plays (8% of offense) with zero touches, plus five special teams snaps (22%). Through three games this season, Davis has earned just one carry for 3 yards despite being the 2025 NFL All-Pro kick returner (31 returns, 943 yards, 1 TD). This underutilization is notable given that third-down specialist Ty Johnson missed Weeks 1 and 2 and James Cook III does not take every snap at running back.
