Blogging The Boys on Javonte Williams

Williams' 98 yards and productive drive should have been trusted more in red zone

Williams ran for 98 yards as Dallas finally got its ground game moving, establishing productive rushing success. The source criticizes the Cowboys for not handing the ball to Williams after he had a productive drive on their first possession, instead calling two straight passes that resulted in an incomplete pass and a 9-yard sack. The analysis emphasizes that when Williams is running effectively, Dallas needs to stay with him rather than getting cute with play-calling.
