Bleeding Green Nation on Makai Lemon

Lemon's easy completion in pistol formation shows offensive scheme potential.

Lemon came open with ease on a pistol-formation play where the Eagles used a fake toss that moved the Bears in the wrong direction. The source highlights this as an example of how pistol gives the offense access to downhill run action without forcing Hurts to turn his back completely on the defense, creating easy completions. The Eagles used this formation only once despite its success.
