Negative signalRole

Latu's poor blocking and penalties led to his benching for rookie Arkin late.

Cameron Latu's role on the Patriots could come into question once injured players return. He was ineffective as a run blocker—his presence may actually alert teams to play calls—and accumulated one penalty each on offense and special teams, plus could have had a third on a missed face mask call. He was replaced by rookie Tanner Arkin down the stretch.
