Positive signalProjection

McCarthy's 250-yard Week 15 was only 200+ yard game in Vikings' last 11 starts.

Despite being labeled 'allegedly horrible,' McCarthy posted 250 passing yards in Week 15 last year—the only quarterback in the Vikings' last 11 games to exceed 200 yards; no other QB reached 182 yards in the other 10 games. This outlier performance suggests McCarthy's ceiling is higher than the recent offensive output trend implies, even as the Vikings' passing game has collapsed across multiple starter changes.
