WR31: Deebo Samuel Sr. (vs. DEN). 80-yard TD off a hook-and-ladder saved the day with Deebo someone earning *zero* targets across 60 minutes. He'll move up to the top of this tier should Mike Evans (rib) not suit up; just realize Samuel is very much being used as a true gadget in this offense. Overall, Deebo's five-yard average depth of route is easily the lowest in the league among 118 receivers to run at least 25 routes. Good news: This Brock Purdy-led offense looks so efficient at the moment that minimal opportunities could continue to produce something close to borderline WR2 numbers in fantasy land.

NeutralRole

Deebo Samuel (WR31) is a gadget player with upside from efficient 49ers offense.

Ranked WR31 in Week 4 vs. Denver. An 80-yard TD off a hook-and-ladder saved the day despite earning zero targets across 60 minutes. Samuel is being used as a true gadget in the 49ers offense with a five-yard average depth of route—easily the lowest in the league among 118 receivers with at least 25 routes. However, the Brock Purdy-led offense is so efficient that minimal opportunities could continue to produce borderline WR2 numbers. Will move up to the top of this tier if Mike Evans (rib) doesn't suit up.
