Yahoo Sports NFL on Anthony Richardson

Richardson had elite upside and mobility; McCarthy lacked comparable prospect pedigree.

Anthony Richardson Sr., like Trey Lance, was drafted in the top 10 despite limited college experience but at least offered the promise of significant untapped upside and high-end mobility and arm strength. J.J. McCarthy, by contrast, lacked these elite prospect attributes that might have justified his 10th overall selection.
