Should McCaffrey haul in a touchdown reception against the Denver Broncos, that would mark his 37th receiving touchdown. That number would see McCaffrey move clear of Faulk (36) and claim the outright record for receiving touchdowns by a running back in the Super Bowl era.

McCaffrey can break Faulk's RB receiving TD record with one TD vs. Denver

McCaffrey is on pace to break Marshall Faulk's Super Bowl era record of 36 receiving touchdowns by a running back; one receiving TD against Denver on Sunday would give him 37 and the outright record. The source notes his exceptional dual-threat production for the 49ers has established him as a clear all-time great, comparable to Faulk and Roger Craig, though previous injuries may prevent him from matching Faulk's career counting stats of 19,154 scrimmage yards (McCaffrey has 13,249 after three games of his 10th season).
