Schultz's role volatility and soft tight-end matchup offer potential bounce-back upside.
Schultz is TE7 in fantasy points per game, but that is entirely fueled by his performance against Cincinnati when he looked like Houston's Brock Bowers. In the other two games this season, he hasn't had more than four receptions and 35 receiving yards in either game. His route share dipped to 64.5% last week after a massive Week 2 performance with 74.6% route share. Overall, he has a 20.7% target share, 2.09 YPRR, one red zone target, zero deep targets, and 21% first-read share. He could see his role bounce back this week against a defense that has allowed the tenth-most yards per target and fifth-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends.
