Stevenson's fumble issues resurface; snap share plummeted after Week 2 fumble on reception.

Stevenson played 84.5 percent of snaps in Week 1 against the Steelers, including 100 percent on third downs, in the two-minute drill, in short yardage and at the goal line. However, he lost a fumble on a reception on the first drive of Week 2, which led to Henderson playing 21 of 25 snaps over the next five drives while Stevenson played six. The Patriots have now lost all four of Stevenson's fumbles dating back to last year. Stevenson remained the primary third-down back even after his fumble, suggesting he keeps that role heading into Week 3.
