Yahoo Sports NFL on J.J. McCarthy

Nagy impressed with McCarthy's release, accuracy, and early adjustment to Giants system.

Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy expressed positive first impressions of McCarthy's physical tools and throwing mechanics. Nagy noted McCarthy is "a little taller than I thought" and "has a very natural release. He's a natural thrower -- the ball comes out nicely. Has some good accuracy." Nagy also credited McCarthy with handling the steep learning curve "really well" through the first 48 hours since arriving in the trade from Minnesota.
