Against a revamped and rejuvenated Raiders defense, Rice is at real risk of a stinker. It almost feels wrong to say the Raiders have a good defense, but they pass the eye test as well as the stat check, getting high-level play from a mix of veteran additions (LB Nakobe Dean, LB Quay Walker, slot corner Taron Johnson) and rookie standouts (CB Hezekiah Masses, S Treydan Stukes)

Rice faces elite Raiders defense; Stukes/Chinn at safety will challenge his middle-field game.

Rice faces a revamped Raiders defense in Week 4 that has shown elite performance both on the eye test and statistically, with high-level play from veteran additions (LB Nakobe Dean, LB Quay Walker, slot corner Taron Johnson) and rookie standouts (CB Hezekiah Masses, S Treydan Stukes); Rice does much of his damage in the middle of the field and after the catch, making this an especially tough matchup with Stukes and Jeremy Chinn at safety and Dean and Walker at ILB.
