I see him as a wide receiver. The things they do with him are as a wide receiver. He's going to be split out wide, when they have two tight ends out there, he runs receiver routes. I mean, shoot, he's their top target right now. When you look at his stats, it's not normal tight end stats.

Byard: Kincaid is a wide receiver, not a traditional TE; he's the Bills' top target.

Patriots safety Kevin Byard noted that Kincaid should not be viewed as a traditional tight end; instead, he functions as a wide receiver in the Bills' offense. Byard explained that Kincaid is split out wide, runs receiver routes when two tight ends are on the field, and is the Bills' top target overall. His stats and usage pattern are "not normal tight end stats," reflecting his role as a dynamic receiver rather than a traditional pass-catching tight end.
