Winston's shaky reads and short throws raise concerns about his ability to beat zone coverage.

Winston has been shaky since taking over for Jaxson Dart; he hasn't appeared sure of his reads, has held the ball at times, and has consistently thrown short of his targets. Against the Titans, his targets were open by an average of 3.3 yards and he only attempted a tight window throw on three passes, suggesting Nagy is creating easy answers for him. The Cardinals' scheme will put the onus on Winston to decipher their rotations, and he must prove he can beat them with his arm if Arizona forces the Giants' run game to prove itself.
