From the article

Jones is a fine quarterback when surrounded by a good supporting cast and good play caller/offensive system. You'll win games with him, not because of him. Meanwhile, if the supporting cast or play calling break down, he can lose you games without strong defensive performances, when he presses too hard or tries to force plays.

NeutralProjection

Jones is system-dependent; strong game management but prone to costly turnovers.

Fine QB when surrounded by good supporting cast and play caller/offensive system; wins games with him, not because of him. When supporting cast or play calling break down, can lose games by pressing too hard or forcing plays. Against Texans, largely kept offense moving with good throws and checks, but threw baffling interception and gave up two fumbles on avoidable strip sacks; without those three plays would have been great against very good defense.
