Yahoo Sports NFL on Colston Loveland

Loveland dropped pass on telegraphed Hoss Juke concept vs. Jaguars.

Loveland was targeted on the Patriots' 'Hoss Juke' concept against the Jaguars, a play designed to isolate the top pass-catcher against a linebacker. However, Loveland dropped the pass from Maye. The source notes the play was telegraphed pre-snap with Jacksonville dropping nine defenders into coverage, and even in a perfect scenario, Maye would have had better options like the stop/hitch route to a teammate at the top of the screen.
