Brown should come back over the next couple of weeks...A.J. Brown just ran his route WAY too early on it and the play was called a bit too close to the end zone for my liking.

Brown returning soon; Week 1 incompletion was route timing, not Maye's underthrow.

Brown is expected to return over the next couple of weeks, which should help ease the Patriots' offensive schedule. The source also clarifies that Brown's early-season flea flicker incompletion in Week 1 was not an underthrow by Maye; rather, Brown ran his route too early before Maye even had the ball, a common issue with flea flickers called too close to the end zone.
